From 1st January 2026, some of our card terminals will be replaced and/or subject to essential maintenance and system upgrades. This will ensure the network continues to operate reliably and ensure the chargers remain in good working order.

Payments can still be made in the bp pulse app or online via pay.bppulse.com.

The new terminals will feature enhanced PIN pad functionality, ensuring transactions are quick, safe, and compliant with the latest standards. These improvements are part of our commitment to providing a high-quality experience for customers, with reliable equipment and seamless payment options

No, this only affects some sites. Most chargers will continue to operate as usual, and you can still pay easily using the bp pulse app or online via pay.bppulse.com.

We’re planning to replace affected payment terminals during Q1 and Q2 of 2026. The exact timing may vary by location, so some sites will be completed earlier than others.

We offer flexible ways to pay for charging with bp pulse:

Download the bp pulse app, add your payment card to the app wallet, and instantly pay for the energy you use.

Enjoy extra benefits by subscribing through the bp pulse app. Just download the app and choose the subscription option.

You can still pay via the app or online via pay.bppulse.com. Simply find the charger you’re using, select it on the map, and complete your payment securely online. This way, you can continue your journey without any interruptions

Go to https://pay.bppulse.com and enter charger serial number on the charger (usually on a label near the screen or side panel). Confirm your session and choose your payment method. Select card payment and enter your details securely. Review the amount and click Pay Now. You’ll receive a confirmation on-screen and by email.

Download the bp pulse app from your app store, register, and add your payment card to your app wallet. Then simply enter the charger ID, tap “Start Charging”, and you’re ready to go!
