Here’s a look back at the moments that made this year electric
Whether you’re already driving an EV or just starting to explore the switch, we have been working hard to make your journey smoother, faster and more connected. From tech upgrades to award nominations, here are five standout moments we’re proud to share from 2025.
1. Finding chargers, made easier
2025 was the year of fresh digital upgrades. Our new website and app were designed with you in mind. We made it easier than ever to find EV chargers, manage your account, and get any support you might need. So, if you’re driving long distance or just topping up locally, you’ll now have a new set of upgrades to make your experience more convenient.
2. From ‘petrol’ to ‘pulse’: our first repurposed site
One of our proudest milestones was opening our first fully repurposed petrol station at Cromwell Road just off the A4 route in Hammersmith, London. It is now a vibrant accessible EV charging hub with wildbean cafe and M&S Food on-site refreshments.
We’re thrilled to share that this trailblazing site was nominated for Global Convenience’s Best EV Charging Hub in the World Award.
3. Smoother charging experiences across the UK
We’ve been busy all year upgrading our network nationwide, and rolling out new chargers designed to help make your visits faster and more reliable. We’ve extended our TfL partnership till 2029, upgrading 150+ chargers in London. We’ve also upgraded Bagshot and Swanbridge sites with improved EV chargers.
4. New sites, new charging speeds
This year saw the launch of several new charging hubs, including at M&S Taunton, M&S Lisburn, Greengates Service Station in Bradford and Kingsway Road Dundee. In fact our Dundee site is our fastest-speed EV charging hub in the UK. By continuing to build more charging sites throughout the UK, we are facilitating more choices for EV owners.
5. Partnership with CarFest
November 2024 marked the opening of the bp pulse LIVE events venue where we’ve been powering thousands of EV journeys ever since. We are proud once again to have been the headline partner at CarFest, where thousands of you joined us to celebrate the joy of driving. Those who were there received £15 of charging credit and access to the EVIP lounge.
2025 has been a milestone year for us, and we’re not finished yet! Thanks for being part of this year’s journey.
