At bp pulse, we want to make our customers' transition to EV as seamless as possible. That's why we are investing in our EV charging to make your experience more convenient. Here's a quick update on how our plans are shaping up.
A growing charging network
Even right now, you can choose from over 3,500 bp pulse rapid and ultrafast charge points in the UK,* and there are hundreds more on the way.
We’ll be investing millions of pounds in EV infrastructure over the next few years. So whether you want to top up on a motorway, in a retail park, in the city or at a brand new bp pulse charging hub, we have you covered.
Only recently we opened a brand new bp pulse charging hub on Kingsway Road in Dundee featuring 14 ultrafast charging points which can charge your EV up to 400kWh – they are the fastest chargers we’ve launched in the UK so far!
EV charging to serve your needs
EV drivers tend to spend more time** on-site than traditional fuel customers, so bp pulse is building hubs with more amenities to make better use of your time. So, at bp pulse, you can look forward to more clean convenience shops crammed full of travel treats, fresh Wild Bean Cafe coffee and snacks, and delicious M&S Food options as well as accessible bays.
Already over 225 bp forecourt amenities have been upgraded, and we’re opening new ultrafast charging hubs to make your visits to bp pulse even more convenient.
A new way to charge
The first of our new ultrafast EV convenience hubs has already launched on Cromwell Road in Hammersmith. We transformed a traditional bp fuel site into a fully electric EV charging hub, with five ultrafast 300kW Alpitronic chargers hosting ten charging bays including one accessible bay, too.
As well as showcasing our new convenience shop choice, it’s designed to serve everyone from local drivers to busy fleets. Cromwell Road is our blueprint for the future of EV charging in urban locations.
Looking ahead to more hubs and more power
2025 has been a big year for bp pulse, and 2026 promises even more great bp pulse services to come. As well as rolling out over 300 new UK charge points, and many additional EV and retail hubs featuring six or more bays, we’re also continuing to upgrade our existing estate.
By investing in new sites, and replacing older chargers with the latest technology, we can help to make sure every visit you make to bp pulse delivers the best possible charging experience.
