Top tips for EV drivers visiting a pumpkin patch

Wellies are recommended for most pumpkin patches. Don’t forget to bring a bag to put them in when they’re all wet and muddy so they don’t mess up your car.

Still on the subject of shoes – keep an old mat in your boot space or frunk. You can put it on the floor to help make the one-welly-on-one-welly-off dance a little bit less precarious, especially for little ones.

Some pumpkin patches have temporary parking in a field. EVs are often heavier than ICE cars meaning they could sink into soft ground and make it hard to get out. If you’re not sure how firm the ground is it’s always better to get out and check on foot before driving on to it.

Enjoy your trip and mind those fingers!
