Our larger locations helping EV drivers across the UK
Our larger charging hubs are in some of the UK’s busiest places, making more chargers and amenities available where EV drivers need them most. They’re an important part of our growing network of more than 3,000 rapid and ultrafast EV chargers across the UK. Whether you live near one or might be passing by one on the motorway, they’re handy to know. Want to get directions or search for other charging sites? Download the bp pulse app – you can also filter by speed or availability and check what you can do while you top up.
1. bp pulse LIVE Arena Gigahub, M1, Birmingham, B40 1PW
The UK’s largest charging location is conveniently located by the bp pulse LIVE arena (what used to be the NEC). A Gigahub is what we call our larger locations designed to meet EV drivers’ needs (not because it’s right next to the place to go for top gigs).
180 charging points – 30 ultrafast 150KW chargers and 150 fast 7kW chargers.
At the heart of the national motorway network on the M1 motorway outside Birmingham in the Midlands.
Collect coffee, hot drinks and food from the comfort of your car seat at a drive-thru Starbucks.
2. Cransley Park, Kettering, M1, Midlands, NN14 1FJ
Our second largest site is also located at the centre of our national motorway network on the M1, outside Kettering. (So it’s another one to remember whenever you’re heading down the UK’s busiest stretch of road.)

With outdoor seating, indoor seating, a café and free Wi-Fi, you can ensure you recharge too.
