bp pulse expands US airport charging network with new ultrafast EV hub near DFW

• Located just four miles from DFW, the site features 22 ultrafast charging bays with a mix of CCS and NACS connectors

• To celebrate the new site, bp pulse will hold a launch event on July 23, offering drivers the opportunity to charge for $0.01/kWh*

• Opening marks bp’s third major EV charging hub in Texas

June 18, 2026 – bp pulse is continuing to grow its US network of ultrafast EV charging hubs near major airports with the opening of a new location near Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

The latest hub, located less than four miles from DFW, is designed to support ride-hail drivers, travelers, and local EV owners who rely on fast, convenient charging on the go. It builds on bp pulse’s strategy of placing ultrafast charging infrastructure in high-demand locations where drivers need it most.

The DFW hub features 22 ultrafast EV charging bays, with a mix of 400kW and 150kW DC fast chargers and both CCS and NACS connectors, helping to support a wide range of electric vehicles. The site also includes a covered canopy, free Wi-Fi, and access to nearby amenities including a convenience store and fast-food restaurants.

To mark the opening of the Dallas hub, bp pulse will host a launch event offering drivers the opportunity to charge their EV for $0.01/kWh anytime on May 28, in return for being among the first to charge at the site and sharing feedback. Refreshments and giveaways will also be available from 9:00am – 4:00pm CT*.

The DFW opening follows a series of bp pulse airport hub launches across the US, including locations near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Houston Hobby (HOU), Boston (BOS), San Francisco (SFO), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Chicago O’Hare (ORD), as well as the recent opening near Salt Lake City (SLC). These sites are particularly aimed at ride-hail drivers and others who operate in and around busy travel corridors. The launch also marks bp pulse’s third major EV charging hub in Texas, building on the opening of their first hub at bp’s Houston headquarters in 2024.

bp pulse is also building its network across a variety of site types in bp’s retail network of bp, Amoco, ampm, Thorntons, and TravelCenters of America locations. Many of these sites provide drivers with amenities while charging, including convenience stores, restaurants, and car washes.
